The hospital holds camps in the premises:

Eye Screening Camp

Eye camps are held every second Saturday of the month. In the camp, BPL card holders are offered free cataract surgery services. Others are given a discount to normal prevailing surgery packages.

Dental camps are held every fourth Saturday of the month. In the camp, consultation is offered free. Treatment services are offered at discount to the normal charges.

Sreechandra Manavaseva Trust

Sreechandra Manavaseva Trust was set up in May 2001 with an objective to provide affordable health care to people. The Trust is a NON PROFIT institution. The Trust was founded by late Mr. Chandrasekhar and his wife Mrs. Sreedevi Chandran. The Trust believes in the philosophy that “SERVICE TO HUMANITY IS THE REAL SERVICE TO GOD”

Mr. Chandrasekhar, who was a business man from Mumbai, decided to donate his life savings in the Trust and the Manavaseva Hospital was built in 2002. Initially the hospital was more of a multispecialty polyclinic with both allopathy and ayurvedic specialties. However, it was ophthalmology specialisation which attracted the maximum patients. And the fact that it had the scope of providing/improving sight, it was decided to set up a full fledged eye hospital. Thus the eye hospital was launched in 2003.
