One of the key members of an Opthalmology department of any hospital/clinic is refractionist/optometrist. An efficient, capable refractionist/optometrist can aid the Opthalmologist to consult maximum patients within a given time. Manava Seva recognized the demand-supply gap in obtaining well trained optometrists. The hospital took an initiative to tie up with Bharat Sevak Samaj (BSS) and offer a two year diploma course in Optometrics so as to bring out trained and quality vision testing professionals.
